If you need to cook bacon for this recipe, cook your bacon however you like! I like to place it on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and bake it in the oven at 400 degrees F for about 20-25 minutes. Drain it well and crumble it once fully cooked.
Cook a box of garlic toast following the directions on the box. I like to cook it just a little bit longer than the directions call for. This helps the garlic toast be nice and crispy.
Heat a skillet over medium high heat. Add the ground beef to the skillet with a chopped onion. Season with salt, pepper, ground mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Once the beef is fully cooked, drain any extra grease. Add the minced garlic and BBQ sauce. Stir well.
Use a spoon to push down on each piece of garlic toast. Add the ground beef mixture on top of garlic bread.
Next, add shredded cheese on top, a little bit more BBQ sauce, crumbled bacon, and some crispy fried onions.
Put the BBQ Cheeseburger Garlic Toasts back in the oven for just a couple of minutes to melt the cheese. Enjoy!
