Once the cake is fully baked allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
Use the handle of a spoon to poke holes all over the cake. Mix together pudding mix and 4 cups of milk following directions on the packaging.
Pour pudding mix over the cake before it completely thickens. Allow that to set up on the counter for about 5 minutes before topping it with a tub of cool whip.
Melt chocolate in the microwave and stir it in short 15-30 second increments.
Top the cake with quartered strawberries and melted chocolate. I used Baker’s Microwavable dipping chocolate, but you could also use almond bark!
Place the finished cake in the fridge for a couple hours for the chocolate and pudding to set and it’s ready to serve. Enjoy!!

Notes
Any boxed Strawberry Cake mix should work for this recipe. Be sure to follow the directions on the box to mix together and bake the cake.
I used 1 pint of fresh strawberries cut into quarters, but you could really use as many strawberries as you'd like.
I used white chocolate pudding, but you could use vanilla pudding or even chocolate if you prefer.
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
Any good melting chocolate will work for this recipe. To keep it super easy I used one 7 oz container of Baker’s Microwavable dipping chocolate. Almond bark or chocolate chips would also work.
