Crockpot Parmesan Garlic Chicken Sandwiches

Crockpot Parmesan Garlic Chicken Sandwiches

Crockpot Parmesan Garlic Chicken Sandwiches are an easy dinner recipe that my family loves!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 4 hours
Course: Dinner
Cuisine: American
Keyword: Crockpot Parmesan Garlic Chicken Sandwiches
Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika and onion powder
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic sauce
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1/2 block of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • Buns

Instructions

  • Spray a crockpot with cooking spray and add the chicken, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, Parmesan garlic sauce (just enough to cover the chicken), minced garlic, and chicken broth.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Once chicken is cooked shred the chicken, add 1/2 a block of cream cheese, and shredded Colby Jack cheese. Let this keep cooking on low until the cream cheese is melted and stir everything together well.
  • Cook the bacon in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20-25 minutes while the cream cheese is melting. Once the bacon is cooked build sandwiches on toasted buns and top with the crispy bacon. Enjoy!

Notes

This recipe makes at least 6 sandwiches!
Parmesan Garlic sauce can have a strong flavor. I suggest going light on the sauce at first and adding more sauce if desired once the chicken is shredded. I usually just add enough of the sauce to cover the chicken.
