Garlic Parmesan Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup olive oil mayo
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp each Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp whole milk

Instructions

  • Melt 2 tbsp of butter in a microwavable safe bowl.
  • Add olive oil. minced garlic, mayo, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and milk to the bowl.
  • Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes.
  • Use a whisk to stir all of the ingredients together well.
  • Store the homemade sauce in an air tight container in the refrigerator. Enjoy!

  • If you want this sauce to have that spicy kick like the bottled sauce, add more red pepper flakes to taste.
  • I use jarred minced garlic for this recipe. 
  • Bottled lemon juice or fresh lemon juice can be used in this recipe.
  • I do not recommend using the shelf stable powdered Parmesan cheese for this recipe. It has anti-caking properties that will give the sauce a grainy texture.
  • Store the homemade garlic Parmesan sauce in an air tight container in the refrigerator for 5 days.
  • This sauce keeps a normal sauce consistency and does not need to be reheated.
