Ingredients
4cupsof green beansfresh, frozen, or canned all work
1lbbaby potatoessliced in halves
1diced onion
1TBSPof minced garlic
6strips bacon
1TBSPof sugar
1tspof pepper
1tspsteak seasoning
2cupsof chicken broth
Instructions
Chop bacon into small pieces and cook in a skillet over medium high heat. Once bacon is cooked add diced onion and chopped baby potatoes. Cook until onions have softened.
Add minced garlic, chicken broth, pepper, sugar, steak seasoning, and green beans (drained if using canned). Bring to a simmer, reduce the heat to low, and cover with a lid.
Let simmer for about 25 minutes or until the potatoes are fork tender. Remove the lid and stir. If you let the green beans sit for a little bit uncovered over low heat the liquid usually reduces.
Season to taste with more steak seasoning or salt and pepper if needed.
Enjoy! Let me know if you try it out!
Notes
If using fresh green beans they may need to cook a little bit longer depending on how you like them cooked.
