Red Velvet Cake Mix + ingredients needed to make cake
4cupsof milk
2boxes of cheesecake instant pudding mix
8oztub of cool whip
Chocolateshaved or chips
Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
Mix together and bake the Red Velvet Cake Mix in a 9x13 baking dish following the directions on the box.
Use a spoon to poke holes all over the cake. Mix together the pudding mix and 4 cups of milk following directions on the packaging. Pour the pudding mix over the cake before it completely thickens. Smooth out the top of the cake/pudding, cover, and let chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Once the cake has chilled, spread whip topping over cake. Top with shaved chocolate (I used a grater and a Hershey chocolate bar) or you could use mini chocolate chips. Top with Christmas sprinkles and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
Cheesecake or vanilla instant pudding can be used in this recipe.I used a grater on a Hershey chocolate bar for the shaved chocolate, but you could also use mini chocolate chips.If using Christmas sprinkles, the longer they sit on the cake in the refrigerator they may start to bleed their colors. I recommend adding the sprinkles right before serving.
