Smoked Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

These are an easy and delicious breakfast recipe that can be smoked or baked in an oven.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Hungry Jack Pancake Mix
  • 2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven or smoker to 350 degrees F. In a mixer mix together pancake mix, cheese, sausage, cream cheese, and maple syrup.
  • Once everything is well combined use a cookie scoop to scoop out the sausage balls.
  • Spray a sheet pan with cooking spray and place sausage balls on the sheet pan.
  • Smoke on a smoker for about 25 minutes or until the sausage is fully cooked. If you prefer to bake them instead of smoking them on a smoker, bake at 350 degrees F in an oven for 20-25 minutes.
  • Enjoy! My family loves dipping these in syrup or jelly!

Notes

This recipe makes about 30 Sausage Balls.
