Bacon Cheeseburger Gnocchi

This is an easy 30 minute one pan dinner the whole family loves!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp each of onion powder and paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 18 oz package shelf stable Gnocchi
  • 1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 4 slices bacon cooked & chopped
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Cook bacon, drain grease, chop into small pieces and set aside.
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat. Add the chopped onion, salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne.
  • Once meat is cooked through drain any extra grease. Add the minced garlic, tomato sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, and the gnocchi.
  • Stir everything well. Once it starts bubbling, cover with a lid, and lower the heat to medium low. Cook for about 5 minutes covered.
  • Remove the lid and check to make sure the gnocchi is tender. Stir well. Top with shredded Colby Jack cheese and cooked chopped bacon.
  • Let sit on the stove covered until the cheese melts or pop on the oven for just a few minutes to melt the cheese.
  • Top with some chopped green onions and enjoy!
