Add chicken breast to a crockpot. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Add minced garlic and 2 cups of your favorite marinara/pasta sauce.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Shred the chicken once it is fully cooked.
Slice open sweet rolls and add sliced mozzarella cheese as the bottom layer. Top with some of the shredded chicken (I didn’t quite use all of the chicken). Top with a little bit of shredded mozzarella cheese and a couple of handfuls of crispy fried onions. Place the tops of the rolls on.
Melt 4 tbsp of butter and stir in garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush this mixture all of the tops of the sandwiches.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is starting to get a little toasted. Enjoy!
