Cheesy Pizza Hamburger Helper

This cheesy pizza hamburger helper recipe is easy to make and only takes one pan!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp each of paprika and Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni
  • 1 TBSP minced garlic
  • 2 cups of beef broth
  • 2 cups of marinara
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 1/2 cups of pasta I used Penne
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Dried Parsley

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef in a skillet with a chopped onion.
  • Season with salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  • Chop pepperoni into fourths.
  • Once the ground beef is mostly browned add 1/4 cup of chopped pepperoni to the middle of the skillet and let it cook for a couple of minutes.
  • Drain grease from pepperoni and ground beef.
  • Add minced garlic, beef broth, marinara, milk, and pasta.
  • Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  • Cover with a lid and simmer on medium low heat for about 15 minutes (stirring a couple times).
  • Once pasta is cooked add 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and stir.
  • Top with 1 cup of cheese and let sit on the stove until it melts or pop it under the broiler until the cheese is melted.
  • Top with dried parsley and serve. Enjoy!
