Ingredients

Mini Meatloaf Sliders

  • King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Slider Buns
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tsp each of salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together 2 lbs of ground beef, 1 small chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, an egg, Italian bread crumbs, ketchup and salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika.
  • Gently mix together all ingredients with your hands. Form meatloaf mixture into 16 mini slider sized patties. Place them on a wire rack on a baking sheet.
  • Mix together ketchup, bbq sauce, and mustard. Spread the sauce mixture over the tops of each meatloaf patty.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for about 30-35 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked and reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees F with a meat thermometer.
  • Spread mayo or butter on the insides of Kings Hawaiian Original Sweet Slider Buns. Toast them in a skillet until golden brown.
  • Place the mini meatloaf sliders on the toasted slider buns. Top with any of your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

  • The Meatloaf patties were fully cooked in my oven at 400 degrees after 30-35 minutes, but all ovens cook differently. I recommend checking the internal temp with a meat thermometer after 30 minutes and cooking longer if needed. The internal temp should be at least 165 degrees.
  • Serve meatloaf sandwiches on toasted slider buns or rolls your family likes.
  • Cooking the patties on a wire rack helps them not cook directly in the grease released from the ground beef.
  • Be sure not to overwork the meat mixture as you are mixing and making the patties. Overworking the beef can make the sliders dense and tough.
  • This recipe makes 16 mini meatloaf patties.
