Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the sliced kielbasa with a chopped onion.
Next, add the minced garlic, uncooked pasta, beef broth, and the can of tomato sauce to the skillet. Season with pepper, smoked paprika, oregano, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir everything together well.
Bring the whole skillet to a quick boil and then turn the heat down to medium-low. Be sure the skillet is bubbling well before turning the heat down! Cover with a lid and cook for about 12-15 minutes.
Once the pasta is cooked add the shredded cheese and milk. Stir everything together well and top with dried parsley before serving! Enjoy! Let me know if you try it out!
Notes
See my Frequently Asked Questions section for more tips!
I used a 14 oz package of Kielbasa for this recipe. Any variation of kielbasa or smoked sausage will work.
The pasta goes into the skillet uncooked and cooks perfectly in the broth and tomato sauce.
Be sure to brown the kielbasa and onions in the skillet before adding the rest of the ingredients. This gives the whole dish a great smokey flavor.
I used freshly shredded Colby jack cheese from a block for a creamier consistency. Shredded cheddar cheese would also be good in this recipe.
