Chop the onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. Add the insides of three avocados to a bowl.
Use a spoon to mash up the avocado. Add the chopped onion, jalapeño, cilantro, pomegranate seeds, and the lime juice. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir everything together well.
This is best if served immediately. The avocados will start to brown usually by the next day.
