Smoked Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno Pinwheels

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Course: Appetizer
Cuisine: American
Keyword: Smoked Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno Pinwheels
Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced pickled jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 strips of bacon chopped
  • 1 tube of crescent roll dough

Instructions

  • Let a block of cream cheese soften while prepping the bacon and other ingredients. Cook bacon, drain grease, and chop into small pieces. Heat your smoker or an oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a bowl combine softened cream cheese, chopped jalapeños, shredded cheese, and chopped bacon. Stir until well combined.
  • Roll out crescent roll dough into two long rectangular sheets. Pinch together any seams and spread cream cheese mixture evenly over both.
  • Starting on one end roll the dough up tightly. Cut each roll into 16 pieces. Repeat the steps for the other roll of dough.
  • Spray a sheet pan with cooking spray and place pinwheels on the sheet pan. It helps to gently squish the pinwheels to help shape them as you place them on the sheet pan.
  • Smoke or bake at 375 degrees F for about 15-20 minutes. Enjoy! If you are baking them in the oven I would check them at 15 minutes.
