Make One Pan Parmesan Garlic Chicken
To start making this easy one pan chicken, prep just a few of your ingredients.
First, cut 1 lb of chicken in half horizontally to make them thinner. Season the chicken on both sides with pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
Next, crush about 5 oz of croutons and set them aside. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.ย

Heat a large oven safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Add some oil to the skillet and sear the seasoned chicken on both sides for a few minutes. This will not fully cook the chicken. It will finish cooking in the oven.
Once the chicken is seared, brush a little bit of Parmesan Garlic sauce onto each piece of chicken.
I used just enough of the sauce to coat the chicken. Use the back of a spoon or a brush to spread the sauce out over the chicken.

Next, add 1 slice of mozzarella cheese to each piece of chicken and top with the crushed croutons.ย
For the last step, place the skillet in the oven at 400 degrees F for about 10 minutes or until your chicken reaches an internal temp of 165 degrees F.ย

Serve Parmesan Garlic Chicken
When the chicken is fully cooked, it’s time to eat! Top the chicken with some dried parsley.
I served this crunchy chicken with some roasted broccoli and air fried baby potatoes.

You will love this recipe because it’s easy, made in one pan, and delicious!
Tips and Frequently Asked Questions
- I topped the chicken with mozzarella cheese slices, but you could use shredded mozzarella or even provolone slices instead.
- The croutons I crushed up were Garlic Butter flavor, but I think any croutons would be good on top of the chicken.
- I like Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic sauce, but you can use your favorite brand.
- Be sure to use an oven safe skillet. If you don’t have one you can search the chicken in a skillet and then transfer it to a baking dish if needed.
