Crockpot Shredded Beef Sandwiches
These Crockpot shredded beef sandwiches are a year round family favorite. Prep work and all this one can be in the crockpot in about 15 minutes and when you get home from work dinner is ready to go.
There really is nothing more cozy than coming home to a house filled with the smells of a roast that has been cooking all day, especially in the fall and winter seasons.
This recipe is one of our favorites to have on a Sunday so that we can have the leftovers again on Monday and start the week off with a little less stress.

Make Crockpot Shredded Beef Sandwiches
First, season the chuck roast on all sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Then melt your butter in a skillet over medium high heat. Sear the chuck roast on all sides for one to two minutes each pressing down with your tongs or spatula.
Place the seared chuck roast into a crock pot.
Add sliced onions, minced garlic, steak sauce, beer, beef broth, and the steak seasoning to the hot skillet stirring and letting it simmer.
Pour the onion/broth mixture over chuck roast in the crock pot and let cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Once the roast is tender, shred the meat and discard any extra fat.
Serve Crockpot Shredded Beef Sandwiches
Spread mayo on the inside of your onion buns and toast them in a skillet over medium low heat until they are golden brown.
Build each sandwich with a pile of shredded beef and a slice of Pepper Jack cheese. Top sandwiches with crispy onions and Chipotle aioli (I used store bought Kraft brand aioli). Enjoy!

- Cooking times may vary depending on size of the chuck roast.

- I used Kraft brand bottled chipotle aioli, but any aioli you like would be good in this recipe.
