Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken breast
- 2 tsp each pepper, paprika, and garlic powder
- 1 tsp each oregano and thyme
- 10 oz can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
Make Crockpot Chicken and Gravy
To start making this easy recipe, add 2 lbs of chicken breast to a crockpot.
Season with pepper, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and thyme. Add one can of cream of chicken soup.
Next, stir 1 tbsp of flour into 1/2 cup of chicken broth and put the mixture into the crockpot.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Shred the chicken and add 1 cup of milk. Stir well and let cook in the crockpot for about 20 more minutes.
Taste the chicken and season to taste with salt and pepper if needed.
I like to wait to add any extra salt to this recipe because of the can of cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. This helps make sure it doesn’t end up too salty.
Serve Crockpot Chicken and Gravy
I like serving this meal over homemade mashed potatoes or white rice with some kind of vegetable. I made smothered green beans, but a salad or some roasted vegetables would also be good.
