Ingredients

  • NY Strip Steak, sliced
  • Broccoli florets
  • Onion, sliced
  • Olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • Steak seasoning
  • Buffalo Wild Wings Teriyaki Sauce
  • Minced garlic
  • Green onions, chopped

Make Teriyaki Steak and Broccoli

To start making this easy recipe, you are going to need to prep a few ingredients first.

Chop about 4 cups of broccoli florets and slice an onion. Chop a couple of green onions and set aside.

Next, slice your steak into thin strips. If you struggle to slice steak, you can put the steak in the freezer for 20-30 minutes first. This will help it be a little bit easier to cut into thin pieces.

Heat a griddle over medium heat.

Add the chopped broccoli and onion to one side of the griddle with a little bit of olive oil.

Season lightly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir and let the broccoli start to cook down.

Next, add the steak to the other side of the griddle with some olive oil.

Season with your favorite steak seasoning. I used about 1 tbsp of steak seasoning.

Once the steak is cooked how you like it add some Buffalo Wild Wingโ€™s Teriyaki sauce. I used just enough sauce to coat the steak. Stir in 1 tbsp of minced garlic.

Stir the steak, broccoli, and onions together.

Serve Teriyaki Steak and Broccoli

Once the steak and broccoli are cooked how you like them, top everything with more Teriyaki sauce if needed, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.

This recipe is good as is, but we like to serve it over some easy microwaveable white rice.

The leftovers of this recipe reheat really well making it an awesome lunch or meal prep!

No Griddle? No Problem!

If you don’t have an outdoor griddle, or don’t want to cook outside this recipe is easy to make inside!

I would cook the steak first in a large cast iron skillet with the oil and steak seasoning. Remove the steak once it is cooked how you like it.

Next, add the broccoli and onions to the skillet and let them cook until tender seasoning them lightly with some salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Finally, add everything back to the skillet and top it with the Teriyaki sauce, green onions, and sesame seeds.
