Crockpot Buffalo Chicken served on Garlic Bread is an easy and delicious appetizer or dinner recipe! I like topping them with some mozzarella cheese and some ranch dressing.
I make the buffalo chicken in a crockpot, so the prep work for these is super easy! You could also use a rotisserie chicken or leftover already cooked chicken as well.

Make Crockpot Buffalo Chicken
To make this recipe, start by getting out a crockpot and spraying it with cooking spray. Add one pound of chicken breast and season with pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and ranch seasoning.
Add 1 tbsp of minced garlic and just enough Buffalo sauce to cover the chicken. I used Buffalo Wild Wings Medium sauce, but you can use your favorite brand.
Cover the crockpot with a lid and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Once the chicken is cooked, shred the chicken and add about 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese to the chicken mixture. I also like to add a little bit more of the buffalo sauce, but that is optional.
Stir well and let sit on warm until the garlic bread is ready to be topped!
Build Buffalo Chicken Garlic Bread
Bake one package of Garlic Bread Toast in the oven following the directions on the package.
Once the garlic bread is toasty, add a scoop of the buffalo chicken mixture on top of each garlic bread. Top each one with a small handful of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Place them back in the oven for just a couple of minutes until the cheese has melted.
Serve Buffalo Chicken Garlic Bread
Once the cheese is melted, it’s time to eat! I like either dipping or topping each one with some ranch dressing. Chopped green onions would also be good on these!
These are perfect for appetizer night or as an easy dinner! I served these with some toasted ravioli, salad, and pizza!
Tips and Frequently Asked Questions
- I used Buffalo Wild Wings Medium sauce for this recipe, but if you want less heat you can use a mild buffalo sauce.

- If you already have cooked chicken, you could shred that and mix it with seasonings and the buffalo sauce and skip cooking chicken in the crockpot. A rotisserie chicken would also be great for this recipe!
- I used an 8 count of garlic bread, but the chicken really makes enough to make at least 12!
