Make Marry Me Chicken Sandwiches
To start making this easy recipe, spray a crockpot with cooking spray and add 1 lb of chicken.
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. Next, add the minced garlic, chopped sun dried tomatoes, and chicken broth.
Be sure to stir the garlic and sun dried tomatoes around. You want them to be in the chicken broth, so they don’t burn.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Once the chicken is fully cooked shred the chicken, add a block of cream cheese, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
Let this keep cooking on low until the cream cheese is melted and stir everything together well.
Cook the bacon while the cream cheese is melting. I prefer to bake bacon in the oven on a sheet pan covered with parchment paper. It bakes at 400 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
Once bacon is cooked build sandwiches on toasted buns, and top with the crispy bacon. I like spreading the buns with mayo and toasting them in a skillet over medium heat, but you can use butter if you prefer.
Serve Crockpot Marry Me Chicken Sandwiches
Once the sandwiches are made, it’s time to eat! I served these with some tater tots and roasted broccoli. They would also be great with a salad or any of your favorite vegetables.
The leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator in an air tight container and will reheat well for lunch or dinner the next day!

Looks delicious! Do you think roasted red peppers could sub for the tomatoes (food allergy issue)? Thanks for the always great recipes!
Thank you! It won’t have the sun dried tomato flavor, but I bet it would be fine!
