Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp each of pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup of chopped sun dried tomatoes
- 15 oz jar Alfredo sauce
- 19 oz bag frozen cheese tortellini
- Parmesan cheese
- 4 pieces of bacon
Make Marry Me Chicken Tortellini on the Griddle
To start making this recipe, cut chicken breasts into cubes and add to a bowl.
Drizzle about 1 tbsp of olive oil over the chicken and season with pepper, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir until chicken is well coated in seasoning.
Heat a griddle to medium heat. Add seasoned chicken and a few pieces of bacon. Once the bacon is cooked remove it from the heat and chop it into smaller pieces.
Once the chicken is pretty much cooked add the frozen cheese tortellini to the griddle. Pour some water (maybe 1/4-1/2 cup) over the frozen tortellini and cover it with a griddle dome.
Let the tortellini cook for a few minutes until it is tender and cooked through.
Once the tortellini is cooked, turn the heat off on the griddle. Add the chopped sun dried tomatoes to the chicken and stir well. Combine chicken and tortellini.
Next, pour a jar of Alfredo sauce over the chicken and pasta. Stir well and remove the meal from the griddle.
Serve Marry Me Chicken Tortellini
To serve, top the Marry Me Chicken Tortellini with the chopped bacon and some shredded Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
I served this with some broccoli also made on the griddle, but it’s also good with a salad or any of your favorite veggies.
