- 1 lb of ground beef
- Salt, pepper, and garlic powder

- 6 pieces of bacon
- 3 Buns
- Mayo
- BBQ sauce
- 1 cup whipped cream cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapeños

Make Jalapeño Popper Smash Burgers
To start making this recipe, start by mixing together about 1 cup of whipped cream cheese and 1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapeños.
Next, form the ground beef into 6 balls and set aside. This recipe will make 3 double cheeseburgers, but you can easily make more by using more ground beef.
Start by cooking the bacon on the griddle. While the bacon is cooking, spread mayo on the buns and toast them until golden brown.
Once bacon and the buns are cooked remove them from the griddle and set aside.
Next, add the balls of ground beef to the griddle and use a burger press or spatula to smash them down.
The Burger Press I use is Made In brand and can be found on Amazon, but there’s also a bunch of different options at different price points.
Season burgers with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Once a crust has formed on the bottom of the burgers flip them over.
Top each patty with a slice of cheese.
Serve Jalapeño Popper Smash Burgers
Once all of the components of the Smash Burgers are ready, it’s time to build the burers!
Spread some of the jalapeño cream cheese mixture to the top bun. Build burgers with two patties, the bacon, BBQ sauce, and some fresh sliced jalapeño. I served this with some air fried fries!
