Make Marry Me Chicken Pasta Bake

To start making this easy pasta bake, start by gathering your ingredients!

For this recipe you want about 1 lb of cooked chicken. This can be cut up into cubes or shredded. I had some leftover grilled chicken that I used for this recipe, but any chicken will work. A Rotisserie chicken would even work well for this!

If you don’t have any bacon leftover from breakfast, cook at least 6 pieces of bacon however you’d like. I prefer to bake the bacon on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper in the oven at 400 degrees F for about 25 minutes.

Once the bacon is cooked, drain any grease, and chop into small pieces. Boil one pound of pasta according to the directions on the package. I used a box of ziti, but really any pasta you have in your pantry will work.

Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside. Pour the cooked pasta into the bottom of the baking dish.

Chicken Pasta

Add 1 lb of cooked chicken, 2 jars of Alfredo sauce, and season with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.

I really like using jarred Bertolli Alfredo sauce for easy recipes like this one, but you can use any brand or even make homemade Alfredo sauce if you prefer.

Add the chopped sun dried tomatoes. I use the sun dried tomatoes that come in a jar that includes oil.

Next, add some of the mozzarella cheese and some of the bacon and stir everything together well.ย

Chicken Pasta

Top with a little bit more cheese and crumbled bacon.

Bake at 375 degrees F uncovered for about 15-20 minutes.

Once the pasta is hot and the cheese is melted, it’s time to eat! Top with some dried parsley and Parmesan cheese.

I served this with a Caesar Salad and some garlic toast.

It would also be great with some roasted broccoli or any vegetable your family enjoys!

Marry Me Chicken Pasta Bake

You will love this recipe because it’s easy to make, delicious, and makes a ton of food! The leftovers reheat pretty well.

This is one of those recipes that can be somewhat prepped ahead of time! The chicken can be cooked and ready to go along with the bacon.

If you wanted to prep the whole dish ahead of time that would also work. It would just take longer to bake if coming out of a cold refrigerator.
