Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped bell peppers
  • 1 small head of broccoli
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Olive oil or Sesame oil
  • Panda Express Orange sauce
  • Chopped greens onions

Prep Orange Chicken Sheet Pan Meal

First, chop all the veggies. Chop the onions and peppers into about the same size. I like chopping them into squares.

Next, roughly chop broccoli leaving them in decent sized pieces. The smaller you chop them the more cooked they will get. I like keeping them decent sized, so that they don’t overcook/turn to mush.

Finally, chop the chicken into cubes.

To keep this recipe easy I usually try to do the prep work for this meal earlier in the day and store everything in the refrigerator in containers. This could also be done on a Saturday or Sunday and the meal could be cooked on a Monday.

Make Orange Chicken Sheet Pan

To start making the recipe, spray a large sheet pan with cooking spray. Add all the veggies to the sheet pan and drizzle it with a little bit of oil. Season to your liking with some salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

Stir veggies until they are well coated in oil and seasonings. Slide the veggies to one side of the pan.

In a bowl season the chicken with the same seasonings you used on the veggies.

For a little kick of heat add some red pepper flakes. Add a little bit of the Orange sauce and stir until well coated in seasoning and sauce.

Next, add the chicken to the other side of the sheet pan.

Bake this sheet pan meal at 400 degrees F for 20-25 minutes. Once the chicken is cooked pour off any extra liquid and broil for a few minutes if desired.

Stir the chicken and veggies together and top with a little bit more of the Orange sauce and the chopped green onions.

Serve Orange Chicken Sheet Pan Meal

This easy sheet pan meal is perfect as is or can be served over some rice. This meal is good with white rice or some microwavable fried rice to keep it easy. I also happened to have some frozen egg rolls in the freezer, so those went in the air fryer.

This was a great and easy recipe I might omit the broccoli next time I love broccoli but I don’t think it mixed well with this meal. Maybe if it was steamed separately? Otherwise this is definitely going in my rotation

I have some picky eaters but my whole family of 5 loves this Orange chicken! To make it even easier I serve with either steamed cauliflower rice or microwave in the bag jasmine rice. So good!

Me and my husband absolutely loved this recipe! Not hard to make and very favorable! We ate it over sticky rice. So good!

It was ok. My area didn’t carry the Panda sauce it called for so I used the teriyaki Panda sauce. And I steamed the broccoli and just added it. I think using a different sauce, like the one it called for would make it better.
