Ingredients
- Chicken breast
- Salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley
- Minced garlic
- Onion, chopped
- Mild buffalo sauce
- White corn tortillas
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Oil for frying tacos

Make Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Tacos
To start making Buffalo Chicken Tacos, spray a slowcooker with cooking spray.
Add 1 lb of chicken breast and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.

Add some minced garlic, one chopped onion, and about 1/2 cup of mild buffalo sauce to a crockpot. Stir everything together so it is coated in seasonings and sauce.
I like using a mild buffalo sauce for this recipe so it isn’t too spicy for my kids! You can use any brand of buffalo sauce you like. Use medium sauce for spicier tacos!
Cook on low for about 4-6 hours or high for about 3 hours. Once the chicken is fully cooked and reaches 165 degrees F, remove the chicken from the slow cooker and add it to a large bowl.

Shred the chicken with a hand mixer or two forks. Add more buffalo sauce if you want more of the buffalo sauce flavor.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add about 1/4 cup of oil. Once the oil is hot, add a couple of white corn tortillas.
Top the tortillas with shredded mozzarella cheese and a scoop of the buffalo chicken.

Fold the tortilla over and cook on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
Work in batches to make and fry all of the tacos. Add more oil to your skillet (about another 1/4 cup) if your skillet gets dry.
I like to place a wire rack on a sheet pan and place the tacos on the pan to allow any extra grease to drain from them.

You can also put the pan in the oven to keep the tacos warm as you make the rest of them.
Serve Buffalo Chicken Tacos
Once all of your tacos are golden brown and crispy, it’s time to eat! Top the tacos with some fresh cilantro and serve the buffalo chicken tacos with ranch or sour cream!

If you have any leftover buffalo chicken tacos, store them in an air tight container in the refrigerator. These fried tacos reheat pretty well in an air fryer at 400 degrees F just until they are warm!
You will love these Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Tacos because they are so delicious!
