Ingredients
- 3 cups of Krusteaz pancake mix + ingredients needed to make pancakes
- 1 lb browned sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup syrup
Make Sheet Pan Pancakes
To start making this easy breakfast recipe, brown 1 lb of breakfast sausage. Once the sausage is fully cooked drain the grease from the sausage well.
Next, mix together the pancake mix with water following the directions of the box. I used Krusteaz brand pancake mix, but any boxed or homemade pancake mix should work for this recipe.
Add 1 lb of browned sausage, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and about 1/4 cup of syrup to the pancake mix and stir everything together well.
Spray a sheet pan with cooking spray.
Pour the pancake batter onto the sheet pan and spread out evenly.
Finally, bake the pancakes at 400 degrees for about 12-15 minutes.
Serve Sausage and Cheese Sheet Pan Pancakes
Once the sheet pan pancakes are golden brown and cooked through, it’s time to eat! Top the pancakes with a little bit of butter and syrup. Enjoy!
Any leftovers of the pancakes freeze and reheat well. I freeze them in freezer bags and reheat them in the microwave for about 1 minute or until they are hot.

WONDERING WHAT SIZE SHEETPAN … LOOKS LIKE THE BIGGEST. I BELEIVE THEY CALL IT A “HALF-SHEET”. COULD YOU POSSIBLY SEND OUT MEASUREMENTS OF THE ONE YOU USE ? THANKS !
Yes, it’s a half sheet pan from Sam’s Club!
Are you able to freeze and reheat (breakfast prep)?
Yes, these freeze and reheat well. I usually just microwave one for about 1 minute or until hot!
I cut them up when cool and freeze with sheet of wax paper between each layer. When I want one for breakfast I pop in the microwave for 60 seconds and top with syrup! Excellent quick tasty!
Hi! What kind of sausage do you use? Just plain ground beef unseasoned? Or cook and chop up some frozen bagged breakfast sausage patties?? Thank you for your time and recipes!
I used Jimmy Dean ground breakfast sausage. Hope that helps!
I made these and live them! Tweaks I used from the original recipe: (1) I used a mini muffin tin instead of sheet pan. Made 36+ minis, (2) I used Bisquick’s “Shake N Pour” for the pancake mix, (3) used a sugar free syrup. 14-15 minutes cook time.
So I used the base recipe and adjusted for what I had on hand (e.g. I didn’t have enough baking mix so added flour and leavening, and I had frozen pre-cooked sausage patties), plus I wanted it to have a little more protein, so I used 1 1/4 cup Fairlife milk (16ish grams protein) and 3/4 cup nf Greek yogurt (17ish grams protein). It was very quick to put together and I doubled it because I only have a full sheet pan. When done, I topped with a blend of nf Greek yogurt and pancake syrup. It was delish!
I used Krusteaz gluten free pancake mix and dairy alternative, and my adult family loved this recipe.
So happy to hear that!
