Make Chicken Alfredo Garlic Toast
We typically have bacon left over from breakfast ready to use for recipes like this one.
If you don’t have any bacon leftover from breakfast, cook your bacon however you’d like! I like baking it in the oven at 400 degrees F on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper for about 25 minutes.
This method eliminates the unpleasant odor of frying bacon in a skillet and gives you perfect crunchy bacon every time.
Using parchment paper allows for quick cleanup and it catches all the bacon grease so it can easily be transferred to a jar to save for future recipes!
Preheat your oven according to the directions on the package of garlic bread.
Once preheated, place the garlic bread in the oven so it can cook while you work on the chicken.
To make the chicken heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add 1 lb of cubed chicken to the skillet with some olive oil. Season the chicken 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper. Next, add 1 teaspoon each of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Stir well and cook until the chicken is fully cooked reaching an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
Once the garlic bread is crispy and golden use a spoon to smash the center creating a little boat.
Then to assemble your sandwiches add a scoop of cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, shredded cheese, and some crumbled bacon.
Put them back in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese.
Serve Chicken Alfredo Garlic Toast
Once the cheese is melted, it’s time to eat! I like to top these with dried parsley and I served them with a Caesar Salad and the extra Alfredo sauce for dipping!
You will love this recipe because they are quick, easy, and so delicious! These are perfect for a busy weeknight dinner or as an appetizer for game day or any holiday party or get-together.
