Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken tenders
- 1 lb bacon
- Heath Riles Garlic Butter seasoning
- Buffalo Wild Wings Honey BBQ sauce
- 24 oz baby potatoes
- 16 oz broccoli
- Olive oil
Make Bacon Wrapped BBQ Chicken Tenders
To start making this easy recipe, bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the potatoes and boil until the potatoes are just starting to be fork tender. Drain the potatoes and set aside.
Season the chicken tenders with Heath Riles Garlic Butter seasoning. If you don’t have this seasoning it can be found on Amazon! If you don’t have it, or don’t want to buy another seasoning, you can definitely season this with any of your favorite seasonings instead!
Some salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder would also be good on these.
Wrap one piece of regular cut bacon around the chicken tender. It is important to use regular cut bacon and not thick cut bacon for this recipe. Thick cut bacon would take longer to cook and may not get as crispy.
Place bacon wrapped chicken on a sheet pan.
For crispier bacon, use a wire wrack on a sheet pan. This will help the bacon grease drain away from the bacon wrapped chicken.
On a second sheet pan add the boiled potatoes, broccoli, and olive oil. Season with more Heath Riles Garlic Butter seasoning. Stir together well to make sure everything is coated in oil and seasoning.
Bake the chicken and veggies at 400 degrees F for about 30 minutes. I would check on the veggies at the 20-25 minute mark.
Next, remove the pan of veggies from the oven and turn your oven to broil. Broil the bacon wrapped chicken for a few minutes. This will help make sure the bacon is nice and crispy!
If you did not use a wire rack on your sheet pan, you can drain off some of the bacon grease before sticking the pan under the boiler.
Finally, brush the chicken with Buffalo Wild Wings Honey BBQ sauce and pop back in the oven for just a minute.
Serve Bacon Wrapped Chicken and Veggies
Top the veggies with some Parmesan cheese and enjoy! We dipped the bacon wrapped chicken in some ranch dressing.
If you aren’t feeling the broccoli and potatoes, these bacon wrapped chicken tenders would also be so good with some baked macaroni and cheese, a salad, or Grinder Salad Pasta Salad. The options are really endless.
