- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of heavy cream

Prep Steak Pasta
This recipe isn’t hard to make, but it definitely goes smoother if you have everything measured out and ready to go. I like to measure out all seasonings, chicken broth, and heavy cream that will be needed for this recipe.
Measure out the Parmesan cheese next. I also prefer to shred my own Parmesan cheese from a block of Parmesan. I buy a big block at Sam’s Club and it lasts forever!
Next, put two strip steaks on a plate or cutting board and season both sides with some steak seasoning. I usually use Montreal Steak Seasoning or Strawberry’s Grand Champion Steak Shake. Any steak seasoning you like will work though!
Cook the Steak
To start making this recipe, start a pot water on the stove to boil the pasta in.
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and melt two tbsp of butter with two tbsp of oil.
Add the seasoned steak to the hot skillet and cook for about five minutes on each side or until the steak is cooked to your liking.
Once the steaks are cooked how you like them remove them from the skillet and set aside.
Cook 16 oz of pasta according to the directions on the package. Drain pasta once it is cooked.
Make the Sauce
Remove all but about 2 tbsp of the oil/drippings from the skillet. Add 1 tbsp of flour and stir well. Once the flour is well incorporated let cook for about one minute.
Next, add 1 tbsp of minced garlic and stir well.
After adding the garlic, add 1 cup each of chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir everything well.
Next, add the chopped sun dried tomatoes and seasonings. Continue stirring until the sauce reaches the desired thickness.
Serve Steak Pasta
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir well. Cut the steak up into thin slices and top the pasta with the steak. Top with extra Parmesan cheese and serve!
This dish is so good with a salad and some garlic bread or bread sticks. It would also be good with some roasted vegetables or green beans!
