Cookie Monster Dip is an easy and delicious dip perfect for all of the Halloween parties or anytime you get a cookie craving!

This dip is made with cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, oreos, cookie dough, and fudge.

I like dipping pretzels in it for a sweet and salty combo, but it’s also good with graham crackers, oreos, waffle cone pieces, or vanilla wafers.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • Blue food coloring
  • 15 Oreos
  • 8 oz (1/2 pack) of edible cookie dough

To start making this easy recipe gather all ingredients and get out a large bowl. In a bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cool whip.

I like using my hand mixer for this, but you could also use a stand mixer.

Next, add a little bit of blue food coloring and stir. Little by little, add more food coloring until you reach the desired blue color. You can also skip the food coloring if you donโ€™t want it to be blue or aren’t big on using dyes.

Chop about 15 oreos into small pieces and add that to the bowl.

Cut half of a pack of cookie dough into small pieces and add them to the bowl. Stir until everything is well combined.

Drizzle a little bit of the cold hot fudge over the dip and gently stir. Be sure not to over stir! If you over stir the blue will turn more of a brown color.

Once the dip is made top with a little bit more oreos and cookie dough and enjoy! This dip is good with pretzels, graham crackers, waffle cone pieces, and oreos!

Be sure to refrigerate any leftovers. Leftovers are still good, but the oreos will soften when kept in the refrigerator.

Tips and Frequently Asked Questions

  • The blue food coloring will not make your mouth blue as long as you don’t add too much food coloring. Start with just a little bit and add more a tiny amount at a time until you reach the desired blue. I used gel food coloring.
  • The dip is best served right away or within a couple of hours of making it. Leftovers are still good, but the oreos will soften from being in the refrigerator.
  • Serve with pretzels, graham crackers, waffle cone pieces, vanilla wafers, and oreos.
  • I used the Pillsbury cookie dough that is safe to eat without baking it.
  • Be sure to add the hot fudge at room temp or cold, so it doesn’t melt the dip.
