Ingredients

  • Kings Hawaiian Sweet Slider Buns
  • 3 tbsp softened butter
  • 1 tsp each garlic powder and parsley
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Au jus seasoning packet + water
  • 8 provolone cheese slices
  • 1 lb roast beef
  • Crispy fried onions
Ingredients

Make French Dip Sliders

To start making this super easy recipe, spread 3 tbsp of softened butter all over the insides of Kingโ€™s Hawaiian Sweet Slider Buns.

Next, season the buns with garlic powder, dried parsley, and salt.

Buns

Bake the buns in the oven at 400 degrees F for about 10 minutes, or until nice and toasted!

Combine the Au Jus seasoning packet with water following the directions on the package. Heat on the stove until hot. Add at least 18 slices (I used about half the container) of roast beef to the Au Jus and let the meat warm up.

You can really use as much meat on these as youโ€™d like! I just used Hillshire Farm roast beef, but you could definitely amp these up using a higher quality roast beef from a deli.

Roast Beef

Once the buns are nice and toasted, add 4 slices of provolone cheese, the roast beef (be sure to let some of the Au Jus drain off of the meat), and top with at least 4 more slices of provolone cheese.

Toasting the buns ahead of time helps the sliders not get as soggy from the Au Jus, so be sure to let them get nice and golden brown.

Top the sliders with a couple of handfuls of the crispy fried onions.

French Dip Sliders

Put them back in the oven for just a few minutes to melt the cheese.

Lastly, add the tops of the buns to the sliders and carefully cut the mini French Dip Sliders apart with a sharp knife.

Serve French Dip Sliders

Once the cheese is melted, it’s time to eat! Serve these sliders with the leftover Au Jus and enjoy! These are great with some fries or a salad for an easy side.
