Ingredients
- 1 pizza crust
- 1 1/2 cups of yellow cake mix
- 1 stick of melted butter
- 1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Make Chocolate Chip Dessert Pizza
To start making this recipe, you will need a pizza crust. I am using a store-bought ready to go pizza crust, but you could also make homemade dough.
First, press the pizza crust out onto a pizza pan. Poke holes with a fork all over pizza crust.
Bake the crust at 400 degrees for about 5 minutes.
In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup of melted butter and 1 1/2 cups of yellow cake mix. Stir well until this forms a thicker consistency.
There is enough cake mix in a box to do at least two pizzas, so you could make two or save the rest of the cake mix for another time.
In a separate bowl combine the brown sugar and white sugar.
Take the pizza crust out of the oven and spread the cake mix/butter mixture all over the pizza crust.
Add milk chocolate chips on top and gently press them into the pizza crust.
Sprinkle the sugar mixture all over the cake and butter mixture.
I didn’t quite use all of the sugar mixture you can really use as much/as little as you want.
Bake the Chocolate Chip Dessert Pizza at 400 degrees F for about 10-12 minutes.
Serve Dessert Pizza
Once the crust has browned and the chocolate chips are nice and melted, it’s time to eat! This dessert pizza is best served right away and warm.
