Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese + more for topping
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef (salt, pepper, garlic powder)
  • 2 cups marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Pepperoni

Make Pizza Dip

To start making this recipe, brown a pound of ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat. Season lightly with some salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain grease from the ground beef.

In a smoker safe dish, combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, ground beef, marinara, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.

Seasoned Ground Beef

Next, smoke on a smoker at 300 degrees for about 30 minutes. Stir the pizza dip well once the cheese is melted.

Once the cheese is melted, top the pizza dip with a little bit more mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni. I like using the mini pepperoni for this, but the regular ones will work, too.

Smoked Pizza Dip

Turn the smoker up to 350 degrees and smoke for another 30 minutes. Once the Pizza Dip is nice and bubbly I like to take a paper towel and dab off any of the extra grease.

Serve Smoked Pizza Dip

Once the Pizza Dip is bubbly and hot and any extra grease has been removed, it’s time to eat!

Dip bread sticks, crackers, or pita chips in the pizza dip and enjoy!
